These terms govern your use of Symetrec and the Flux Standard. We wrote them in plain language because that is how we think agreements should be written. By signing in with LinkedIn, you agree to the terms below.
Acceptance
By creating a Symetrec account or using any part of the platform, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Symetrec. Your continued use of the platform after we update these terms means you accept the updated version.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use Symetrec. You must use a valid LinkedIn account that represents your real professional identity. One person, one account -- impersonation, shared accounts, and pseudonymous registrations are not permitted.
Account Conduct
Flux Challenges must be completed by you. Do not have another person complete a challenge on your behalf, do not submit work product you did not produce, and do not coordinate with other candidates during an active attempt. We may suspend accounts, void attempts, and revoke credentials if we determine these terms have been violated.
Credentials and Verification
Flux credentials are issued by Symetrec when you pass a Flux Challenge against the published rubric. Credentials are tied to your LinkedIn identity and are independently verifiable at symetrec.org/verify. We reserve the right to revoke a credential if we discover the underlying attempt was fraudulent, plagiarized, or otherwise obtained in violation of these terms.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where the change is material, notify you by email or through an in-app notice. We will not retroactively apply new terms to credentials already issued under prior terms.
